I was delighted to read your paper. Do you think the Al(III) complexes such as hexaaqua Al complex could be stable in pore fluid of concrete (pH 12-14, high in OH- and Ca++, some Na+, K+, usually "no" sulphur, and if alkal-aggregate reaction takes place some Si). Dissolution/interaction with muscovite in this system may contribute protons (from layers with K+) and Al (from tetrahedra). If Al complexes with OH form it may reduce the pH of porefluid!
